Author Description

Raised as a New York Catholic, TERRY GORTON embraced the Lord's restored gospel and Church while serving as a US Army medic in Germany. A life-long love for language, literature, and the Book of Mormon has led him to teach both humanities and Book of Mormon classes at BYU (in Utah and Idaho) and Stony Brook University in New York. It has also led to several shoeboxes full of index card sets each labeled "The Plates of Terry," from which the ideas for this book emerged (though computer files have lately replaced index cards and shoe boxes).
