Book Details
What if your testimony of Jesus Christ could become more than something you say, but the sure foundation beneath everything you are building? In a world crowded with opinions, distractions, and uncertainty, the witness of living prophets and apostles points us back to the one truth that matters most: Jesus Christ lives, and He has provided the way to happiness now and eternal life to come. In The Testimony of Jesus the Living Christ, veteran gospel teacher Brett D. Benson gathers prophetic witnesses, scriptural teachings, and personal reflections to show how the Savior's life, Atonement, Resurrection, restored gospel, and promised return relate directly to you. Organized around the image of building an eternal home, this book begins with the foundation of Jesus Christ and His prophets, raises walls of gospel witness and discipleship, and places over it the protecting roof of personal revelation. Through teachings from ancient and modern prophets, Benson invites readers to see why receiving the testimony of Jesus is essential to overcoming the world. This book will help you seek, strengthen, and treasure your own witness of the Savior. As you study the words of those called to testify of Him, you will be invited to believe more deeply, love more fully, and follow Jesus Christ with renewed faith, hope, and devotion, and personally prepare your heart for the day He comes again in glory with joy.
