Dr. Hansen's scientific training and research experience, his extensive church service, and years of serving as a consultant in more than 20 countries, combined with an intense desire to understand the unknown, have all contributed to the driving force behind Israel's Lost Ten Tribes. He has had a life-long interest in the origins, migrations, and religious beliefs of different peoples.Dr. Hansen has taught and directed research at Utah State University. He developed and was the first director of both the Utah Water research Laboratory and the Engineering Experiment Station. His technical publications include more than fifty papers and bulletins, and he is coauthor of Irrigation Principles and Practices, which has been translated into several languages.He has been a consulting engineer in 20 Latin American countries, and also in China, Pakistan, and Angola. Their top leadership invited Dr. Hansen to assist them develop their water resources. He worked intimately with them, and he also has had a close relationship with Native American leaders, counseling about development of their natural resources. He has been blessed to walk among and to work with many Israelite leaders living in many countries.His wife Donell and several of their ten children have been with him in foreign countries. After Donell died, Dr. Hansen married regina, and she has also contributed significantly to Israel's Lost Ten Tribes.
