Kim Sigafus, an award-winning Ojibwa writer and photographer, is also a Illinois Humanities Road Scholar speaker. Jer family is from the White Earth Indian Reservation in northwest Minnesota. She is also the author of three PathFinders novels, Nowhere to Hide, Autumn's Dawn, and Finding Grace, and the coauthor of Native Writers: Voices of Power and Native Elders: Sharing Their Wisdom. She now resides with her husband in Freeport, Illinois.
