Book Details
"I wish I had read this before my mission." —More than 100 RMs and counting . . . How to Be a Powerful Modern-Day Missionary is written to break Preach My Gospel down into small, applicable bites for preparing missionaries. Matthew and Dakota discuss how to live with a companion 24/7, sustain a positive attitude, deal with disobedience, make effective daily plans, and more. Success isn't about high numerical success; it's about coming closer to Christ. As recently returned missionaries from the Singapore and Malaysia mission, Matthew and Dakota offer a fresh, modern-day perspective for turning missionary work into missionary work fun! "How to Be a Powerful Modern-Day Missionary is the go-to manual that will not only motivate future missionaries, but also give them real tools to be successful and powerful. It will teach them how to have the grit to endure and show them what makes missions and the gospel fun . . ." —Hank Smith, best-selling author and motivational speaker "Finally, a book to navigate life as a missionary. So relevant, so timely, and so needed today. This book shows us how to be powerful and productive missionaries while having fun along the way . . ." —David M. R. Covey, best-selling author of The Highly Effective Missionary "I am a mom of six children ages seven through eighteen, and this book had me wishing I was the one serving a full-time mission! I want each of my children to read it! I want to give it to the sister missionaries serving in my ward. I want to give it to every full-time and pre-missionary I know." —Lani Hilton, mom of 6 pre-missionaries and author of Celebrate Sunday "An exemplary guide to becoming a powerful missionary in these last, last days." —Chris Heimerdinger, best-selling author of The Tennis Shoes Adventure Series
