Author Description

Randal A. Wright obtained an M.S. in Family Studies from Lamar University and a Ph.D. in Family Studies from Brigham Young University. His research focused on the impact of electronic media on the attitudes and behaviors of adolescents. He worked as an Institute Director for Seminaries and Institutes as a career. He has spoken in over 250 cities, 34 states, and several foreign countries at various events, including BYU Campus Education Week, Especially for Youth, and on cruises and land tours with Bountiful Travel.

Randal is the author of several books, including The Book of Mormon Miracle, Achieving Your Life Mission, Make Every Day Meaningful, and Power Parenting. He has also written chapters in several books and articles in the Ensign, LDS Living, and other magazines.

He and his wife, Wendy, are the parents of five married children and live in San Antonio, Texas.
