Book Details

Four volumes of scripture teach us that reaching toward Christ's kind of love will make it possible to know Him. The ideal of that love is found in committed righteous family life. Married or single in this life, we can choose to be in the family of Christ. How we can manifest that loving commitment is outlined in "The Family: A Proclamation to the World." It is in the acceptance of our roles in the plan of salvation –God-defined and God-given. In these days of confusion about what comes first in our lives, we are apt to lose sight of that precious goal to know and love Christ. In this book Ester Rasband examines some of the barriers to our willingness to put that knowledge and that love first. She bears testimony of the sweetness when we get a glimpse of the blessings that come with that knowledge. It woudl be unrealistic to believe that the joy of Christlike love can be had without self-sacrifice, but this author clearly believes it is worth it. She has written a plea to both men and women that they choose to embrace their roles in the plan of salvation. It will be choosing the joy of knowing Christ.
