Author Description

Roberta Mezzabarba was born in Farnese (VT) and has lived in Viterbo for half her life. A prolific and versatile writer, she has four novels to her credit (La lunga ombra di un sogno, Legàmi, Le confessioni di una concubina and IULIA FARNESIA - Lettere da un anima) translated and published worldwide in English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, as well as two collections of short stories (Le storie mancanti and Le Storie (S)velate) two collections of poetry (Come cenci stesi al vento and Nell`ora incerta prima del mattino) and three illustrated books for children (Isadora e la Corona Maledetta, Sebastiano e la Corona Maledetta and Spettro e il Ponte dell`Arcobaleno). Creator and President of the City of Viterbo International Literary Prize `TUSCIA LIBRIS`, member of FIDAPA BPW ITALY, meritorious member of the National Carabinieri Association, Academician of Sicily, in recent years she has been called upon to perform the delicate task of juror in various literary competitions. She is a co-founder of WikiPoetry. Film and theatre scriptwriter. In July 2020 in the context of the 2nd Edition - year 2020 of the Literary Competition "I Poeti Navigano Sulle Viole" in Trani, she was awarded the CAREER PRIZE.
