Alessio Chiadini Beuri was born in Forlì in 1986 and graduated in Anthropology and Archaeology in Bologna. A serial book hoarder and typewriter collector, he spends his time inventing the stories he would like to read. He is the author of several poems, an unripe coming-of-age novel, the first ever sitcom on paper and a novelisation of the video game Max Payne. The Stray is his fourth novel.
