Accompanied by his faithful horse, Francesco, he embarks on an adventure of danger, uncertainty, and discovery. As he strays further from home, he encounters challenges and questions that test his strength and resolve. Will he find the answers he seeks or will he discover something unexpected?

Author Description

Luis Escudero. Born in La Mancha, he grew up and lived most of his life in Barcelona. Married with two daughters, he worked at the now-gone Pegaso. Always restless, at 65 he learned to use a computer, becoming fond of Prince of Persia-style games, and, somewhat later, when he was over 70, he began to write. Zarzo, corazón valiente is his most complete work. Ana Escudero. She has worked at a social foundation since 2007. As a writer, she has self-published several books: Solamente Peter, Nunca visitates al dentista al lunes and Si no sabes qué leer. Relatos y microrrelatos, all three co-written with her sister Belén. Juicio a un alma atormentada is her first solo novel. Some of these works have been translated into other languages, such as English, Portuguese, and Italian. In 2024, she published her first non-fiction work, Vidas TRANSgresoras, an illustrated album by Anna Solà i Andreu and published by the publishing house Libros de Las Malas Compañías, the winner of the 3rd La gente también cuenta competition. In 2024 she also published El castillo de Nalda, a work co-written with her sister Belén and illustrated by Anna Solà with the publishing house Siníndice, the winner of the 9th Illustrated Literature Competition of the Towns of Nalda and Islallana. In addition, Ana has coordinated three charity anthologies: 39 Saltos en el puddle, for the Pere Tarrés Foundation; Un salto en el recuerdo and Un salt en el record, for the Alzheimer Catalunya Foundation. Awards First prize, 9th Illustrated Literature Competition of the Towns of Nalda and Islallana, from the publishing house Siníndice and the city council of Nalda and Islallana with the work "El castillo de Nalda". First prize, III Illustrated Album Contest People also count from the publishing house Libros de las Malas Compañías with the work «Estrellas que brillaron en un mundo sin colores». First prize, 1st Jocs Florals from the Pere Tarrés Foundation with the work «Matilde». Second prize in the 2021 Illustrated Micro-Story Contest of the University of Jaén with the work «¿Me escuchas?». Belén Escudero. Dedicated to the world of health, so far, she has co-written with her sister Ana the books «Solamente Peter», «Nunca visites al dentista un lunes», «Si no sabes qué leer» and «El castillo de Nalda». With this last work, she won first prize in the IX Illustrated Literature Contest of the towns of Nalda and Islallana. from the publishing house Siníndice and the city council of Nalda and Islallana. Her story Matías won third prize in the VI ZonaeReader Free-Theme Short Story Contest.
