Having spoken through the Prophets of the Old Testament, God finally spoke through His Son Jesus Christ both as the Completer of God's plan of redemption and the fulfillment of the same as the perfect Sacrifice, satisfying the Law.The book of Hebrews assures us that Jesus Christ is our High Priest Who took His own holy and sinless Blood into the heavenly sanctuary, offering it to God as the eternal atonement for the redemption of the lost. In sum, The author of Hebrews is essentially telling his readers and Christians across the ages: Do not abandon your hope in Jesus. Keep your eye fixed on Him Who is your salvation. Never forget that Jesus is your High Priest. He has entered the presence of the Father in heaven and intercedes for you. He is your sure foundation in a world that is otherwise passing away. He will lead you safely home where you will dwell in His presence forevermore!
