Author Description

Himangi Nair is a poet, blogger and aspiring writer. She is a student, 16, and is an avid reader. She strongly believes in love, equality and feminism. She is greatly inspired by nature, and her favourite authors include Elif Shafak, J.K. Rowling and Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. She also emphasises on the need for self-love and body positivity. Her online posts are well appreciated and her poem has also been broadcasted on the Mexican radio. She represented Rahul International School at the CBSE National Story Telling competition 2019–20 and stood second in her category. Apart from writing, she is also a trained Mohiniyattam dancer and performs at various festivals. She has also represented her school and won medals at the District level for dance, elocution and storytelling. With many projects in the works, she wants her words to have a powerful impact on the world.
