Author Description

Eli Hernandez is a bilingual actor and aspiring writer living in Los Angeles. He recently joined the Writer's Guild of America, West. Eli studied Theatre Arts at the University of La Verne with emphasis in acting and play-analysis. It was during this time where the works of Chekhov, Ibsen, and Brecht, sparked Eli's realization that the stroke of a pen could transcend cultural boundaries. Eli spent a year living abroad in England, where he received a B.F.A from the Guildford School of Acting Conservatory (GSAC).

Eli worked on the FOX show Gang Related for a year as a Spanish dialect coach. In this role, Eli coached actors of different Hispanic backgrounds. While assisting the actors on set, Eli was often sought after by the show's writers and producers to help translate dialogue. He continues to work on the production side of multiple television shows such as The Meltdown for Comedy Central, Silicon Valley, and N.C.I.S. Most recently, Eli wrote and produced an independent project which qualified for the Los Angeles Film Festival. Eli's television and film acting credits include General Hospital, Savages and Gang Related.
