Follow the life of Jerrod James as he confronts multiple challenges influenced by the intervention of others beginning in his early life. Jerrod's life intertwines with myriad circumstances and a wide range of characters pertinent to achieve personal goals. His primary goal is to become a certified physician stimulated by Doctor Albert Schweitzer's establishment of a hospital in a remote region of Africa, in the early twentieth century. The momentum of the story escalates as Jerrod matures and particular goals are accomplished. Jerrod discovers love twice in unusual and unsuspecting ways and these two events offer inspiration, which he carriers throughout his life.
Raymond Greiner lived in Vienna, WV until 1951, moved to Marion, Ohio until 1957, attending Harding High School in Marion, Ohio moving to Utica, NY for his senior year of high school, graduating from Utica Free Academy public school in 1958. Greiner served four years in the USMC, honorably discharged in 1961. He attended Utica College and Wayne State University, married in 1964 to Nancy McClellan and raised three children. He started a restaurant and developed a consulting service as an advisor to investors. Retired at age 60, he is pursuing writing; he is a dedicated reader.
