Roberta Mezzabarba was born in Farnese (VT) and has lived in Viterbo for half of her life. Prolific and versatile writer, she has written four novels (La lunga ombra di un sogno-The long shadow of a dream, Legàmi- The bond, Le confessioni di una concubina-The confessions of a concubine and IULIA FARNESIA – Lettere da un'anima-Letters from a soul) translated and published around the world in English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, as well as two collections of short stories (Le storie mancanti- The missing stories and Le Storie (S)velate- The (Un)veiled Stories), two collections of poems (Come cenci stesi al vento-Like rags hanging out in the wind and Nell'ora incerta prima del mattino- In the uncertain hour before the morning) and three illustrated books for children (Isadora e la Corona Maledetta- Isadora and the Crown Cursed, Sebastiano e la Corona Maledetta- Sebastian and the Cursed Crown and Spettro e il Ponte dell'Arcobaleno- Spectrum and the Rainbow Bridge). With her writings, she has been awarded in prestigious literary competitions over one hundred and seventy times in Italy and around the world.
