ڤرجنيا فوستر رائدة الأعمال قد بلغت مرامٍ عظيمة، لا سيّما في عالم التجارة، لكن ظهرت صدوع في مملكتها هذه حينما بدأ ثاني العالم في تتبّع عزّها؛ جبريل كونوي قد نال كلّ شيء اشتهاه، إلّا الظَفَر بالمرتبة الأولى لشركته في تجارته، والسبب في ذلك امرأة جريئة وقحة احتلّته؛ أمّا الآن فهما تائهان في جزيرة، وسيُضطَرّان إمّا إلى حسم صراعهما وإعلان المنتصر وإمّا إلى مقاتلة بعضهما بعضًا حتى آخر نفس، وإن كان ذلك في فراش.
