Barrett L. Pickett, Author, Inventor, and Novelist. Born May 8, 1957. Attended Westbrook Elementary School, Denman Jr. High, and McComb High School. Also attended Southwest Community College and Alcorn State University. Mr. Pickett is the writer of four books: The Millennium, A Coming Age of Peace, and the novel Of Ships from Far Away, which are available through Amazon. Additional published books include The Conquering Kingdom of God, available through virtual bookworm.com . The author is also a freelance board game designer holding a patent on a chess-like game called Spectrum Chess. Various other interests linking him to the community include coaching in the youth basketball league, ages 8-9 year-olds. The author's mission statement, not as a minister but as a gifted writer, is to convey the premier message and good news in the Bible, and the coming Kingdom of God ruled by Christ for a thousand years and on into the ages of eternity.
