An M.A in literature (osm), a retired lecturer in English, worked in Hyderabad and other provincial areas of Andhra Pradesh; ideologically a center-left, not a political activist; his interest: reading fiction, poetry, philosophy, biographies; authors who left impact: Shakespeare, Goethe, Hafiz, Ghalib, Spinoza, Anton Chekhov, Eliot, Salman Rushdie etc.An unpublished short story collection: 'Stories From My Vernacular'.
