Author Description
Charmaine Cole is connected to the Noongar nations of the southwest of Western Australia. Formerly an Aboriginal Public Arts lecturer with Leederville TAFE, Charmaine continues to create work and is involved in community-based art projects and exhibitions. She holds an Associate Degree in Aboriginal Art, a B.A. in Fine Arts and Visual Arts. She is a self-taught digital artist, and her digital animation portraits of Noongar ancestors provided the Welcome to Country to an audience of 88,000 at the 2017 Kalei.doscope Festival.
