Author Description

Nadia Bourboulas is a Greek-Australian first-time children's book author based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The daughter of parents, whose parents were first generation Greek migrants, she visits Greece regularly to maintain her connection to her culture and extended family. Most recently, Nadia and her family travelled there for three months, spending time drinking Greek coffee and eating too much lamb souvlaki in Amorgos, Arahova, Athens, Chios, Crete, Hydra, Limnos, Meteora, Naxos, Paros, Piraeus and Syros. Nadia advocates parents encouraging their children to maintain a connection to their family's country of origin and cultural heritage. She is a qualified Speech and Drama Teacher and Corporate Communications Professional by trade.
