Bio 1 of 3: 'Wayne J. Lewis': Wayne J. Lewis was born in Mesa, Arizona. He served a mission in Virginia and North Carolina. He received his BA in political science in 1969 and his master's degree in history in 1981, both at Brigham Young University. He taught seminary in Mesa and Snowflake, Arizona, and also taught classes in the College of Religion Education at BYU. His master's thesis identified 6,700 names of Latter-day Saints who lived in the state of Missouri during the 1830s and also identified the property that many of these early Saints owned there. He also pursued work toward a PhD in the College of Family Sciences.He worked for the Presiding Bishopric Office of the LDS Church and was assigned to the LDS Philanthropies for twenty years to assist in financing various projects of the Church and BYU. He assisted in some of the priority needs with the College of Religion, BYU Sports, and Ezra Taft Benson Agricultural Institute, and served as assistant dean in the College of Biology and Agriculture at BYU.Wayne and his wife, Maren Barraclough, were married in the Mesa Arizona Temple and have twelve children, fifty grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He has served as a bishop and has served in numerous other positions in the Church.Wayne has collected books written about Joseph Smith for over forty-five years and has over five hundred books about the Prophet Joseph Smith in his personal library.In 2009, Wayne compiled the first complete bibliography of the Prophet Joseph Smith. In 2010, he printed a second edition entitled Joseph Smith Bibliography, Joseph Smith A–Z Volume 1, Reference Encyclopedia. Bio 2 of 3: 'Jana Lee Cox': Jana Lee Tiffany Cox lives in Mesa, Arizona, with her husband, Max, and two daughters, the youngest of their six children. Max and Jana were married in the Mesa Arizona Temple in March 1984 and are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Jana received an Associate of Arts in Psychology from MCC in 1984 and went on to earn a second degree in creative writing in 1986. She has worked for over thirty years in the printing industry, specializing in computer layout and design. Jana and Max work together as partners in their own printing business, Legend eXpress Publishing, where she has been instrumental in the production of over one hundred books, from life and family histories, works of fiction, and poetry and art to business manuals and educational material and workbooks. Although she has provided editing assistance to a number of first time authors, Joseph Smith A–Z and 500 Little Known Facts about Joseph and Emma Smith are her largest editing ventures to date. Bio 3 of 3: 'Lee Nelson': Lee Nelson's historical novels have sold hundreds of thousands of copies since his first novel was released in 1981. Nelson has also published a score of non-fiction works including the top-selling Beyond the Veil series. Nelson is widely respected for his historical research which includes killing a buffalo from the vack of a galloping horse with a bow and arrow. Nelson was born in Logan, Utah, but spent most of his childhood in California. After serving an LDS mission in Germany, he earned a bachelor's degree in English and a Masters Degree in Business, both from Brigham Young University. He was a speech writer in Philadelphia and a car dealer in Montana before beginning his career as an author. Lee lives on a small farm in central Utah. His hobbies include team roping, big game hunting, and finding and exploring ancient Indian ruins.
