Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace would surely count among the greatest novels every written in the course of history. With the kind of intellectuality Leo presents the readers with and the earlier Russian era and the norms during those times would force oneself to think over and over about it. His writting is subtle, amusing, horrifying, beautifully descriptive and places me firmily in anouther time and place This has to be a masterpiece of epic storytelling.
