Author Description

Damon L. Bahr is an Associate Professor at Brigham Young University. He took a year's leave of absence from BYU to serve a mission in Kirtland, Ohio with his wife, Kim. Having spent several years studying the Kirtland, Ohio period in Church history including the Johnson Home year, it was their privilege to spend most of their mission helping provide tours for over 1,300 people of the Historic Johnson Home and it was during that time that his love for the Johnson Home and what happened there deepened and provided an impetus for this book.
Damon earned his Bachelor's and Doctorate degrees at BYU and a Master's from Utah State University.
