Bio 1 of 3: 'Kristin B. Hodson, LCSW': Kristin graduated from Brigham young University—Hawaii in 2003 with a degree in social work with an international emphasis. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Utah with a masters degree in social work with clinical and medical emphasis. She has worked as a psychotherapist since 2006, and in 2009 she opened a mental health clinic in Holladay, Utah, specializing in women's mental health. She regularly presents at various universities and to community groups on relationships, pregnancy, and postpartum mental health, as well as finding balance and wellness in everyday living. She has a passion for women's mental health and human and relational sexuality and spirituality. She finds her greatest joy in pursuing life's adventures alongside her husband and two children. Bio 2 of 3: 'Alisha B. Worthington, SSW': Alisha graduated from Brigham young University with a degree in social work, and she works part time for The Healing Group—a therapeutic clinic. She is a marital intimacy coach, helping couples and individuals in their quest for greater intimacy. Since 2008 she has worked as a freelance writer providing articles for websites on topics such as parenting, dentistry, prisons, dating, and so on. She contributes to her community by speaking to groups and holding educational forums. Alisha has a passion for women's issues, pregnancy and birth, and education. She has been married fifteen years and is the mother of seven children. She feels this fact alone qualifies her to write a book on marital intimacy since she and her husband have continued to experience great intimacy! Bio 3 of 3: 'Thomas G. Harrison, LCSW': Thom has been practicing in Utah with a clinical license since 1977. He has taught at the University of Utah medical school, the graduate school of social work, and the law school since 1977. He has taught and spoken to many groups on human sexuality and sexuality within relationships. He has counseled over three thousand survivors of sexual abuse. He has been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, reality-oriented therapy, and relationship therapy. Harrison has a successful practice in Salt Lake City, Utah, and counsels individuals, couples, and families.
