Human face is very important cosmetically as it is the first part of the body noticed by anyone in the world whether it is a baby, male, female or professionals. It is therefore important that a blemishless face attracts anybody. Similarly any dissimilarities over the face has a direct impact on the self image and confidence. Prof. Sundaramoorthy Srinivasan is Professor and Head, Department of Dermatology, Sexually Transmitted Infections and Leprosy, previously in the world renowned Government Stanley Medical College, Chennai till he retired and then onwards in Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE) both in Chennai, India. He has great interest in teaching post graduate, Under-graduate and Allied Health Services students in Dermatology. He is the Editorial Board member in many National and International Journals, many publications to his credit, peer reviewer in reputed journals, abstract reviewer for European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congresses, External examiner of Post graduates in Dermatology in various South Indian Medical Universities, Chaired many scientific sessions in International and National Conferences, Presented scientific papers in WCD, EADV, IPC and IADVL Conferences. He has keen interest in teaching, updating recent advances, promoting interest in students to present papers in all conferences, both scientific and research articles. The present book is his long time desire to bring forth a great scientific book on human face. It is a wonderful idea as the recent trend is the aesthetic procedures predominantly on face. Without beautiful and blemishless face no one can achieve their career aspirations and at home. A blemishless face carries success in one's life!
Dr. S. Soundarya is an Assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology at Chettinad Hospital and Research institute who completed her post graduation under the visionary guidance of the eminent professor and Head of the Department, Professor M. S. Srinivasan. Her key interests are general and clinical dermatology. She has presented papers in national conferences and has 5 publications in indexed journals to her credit.
